The capital of Himachal Pradesh, was also once the summer capital of the British Empire, signs of which are still visible in the buildings that have survived the tide of time. The salubrious climate, its splendid view of the snow capped mountain ranges and the envious variety of flora and fauna, make it a memorable experience for any tourist visiting the city. Adding to the attractions of the sylvan surroundings are the three markets of the mall road, the ridge or the lakad(wood) market where you can amble through leisurely buying souvenirs to remind you of your visit to the city. If your interest lies in sports, then indulge yourself with golf at Nalderha and skiing at Kufri and Narkanda.

Kullu, another picture perfect valley was once known as Kulanthpitha or the end of the habitable world. Beyond its parameters loom the majestic Himalayas and the crystal clear waters of the Beas River make it seem the "silver valley". Blessed with some of the most spectacular and beautiful landscapes, it is a traveler's paradise with lofty snow peaks, deep gorges, lush green valleys, fast flowing rivers and flower bedecked meadows completing the harmony between man and nature. Kothi, a quiet picturesque spot provides a majestic view of the river Beas flowing through a deep gorge and the cliffs, which flank both side of the canyon. Solang is another splendid valley between Manali and Kothi promising an exotic view of the glaciers and the snow covered peaks. The valley is also the venue of the annual winter carnival held from February 10 to14.

Manali is situated t the northern end of Kullu nad the main highlight of this place is a bridle path from the Manali log huts goes past the Dhoongri Temple and wanders into the dense deodar, kail, horse chestnut, walnut and maple forest which is a part of this sanctuary and this place is sure to entice all bird loves. The major attractions of this valley include the natural hot water fountain and the temple in the Vashishtha Baths, the legendary Hadimba temple and the picturesque Tibetan Monastary. A visit to the Mall brings you to the centre of activity in the city and you can shop for woollens and Tibetan goods here.

Head for Khajjiar via jot on day 03. Afternoon arrive at Khajjiar. Day free for leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

On day 04 after the morning breakfast, head for Dalhousie. On reaching Dalhousie check-in-to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05 of Dhauladhar Ranges Tour begins with a local sight seeing tour of Dalhousie. Visit places like Bakrota Hill, Bathri View, Pangi View, & water falls of Subhash Bowli, Satdhara, Panjpulla) etc. Overnight stay at the hotel.

On Day 06 head for Pathankot for the onward destination.
